Volunteer & Youth Leadership
Volunteer & Youth Leadership is a developing TTF program creating structured service opportunities for youth, young adults, students, and community-minded volunteers.
Participants may support community events, outreach, education programs, planning, marketing, administration, and service projects while gaining leadership experience, community responsibility, professionalism, and exposure to Seva through involvement.
The program connects meaningful community participation with volunteer development as TTF continues building its volunteer pathway and opportunities.

Our Approach to Volunteer & Youth Leadership
TTF is developing the program as a structured pathway for meaningful service and volunteer development. Youth and young adults can gain leadership experience through appropriate responsibilities while strengthening community awareness, professionalism, compassion, and the spirit of Seva through participation.
Depending on confirmed activities, volunteers may assist with community events, health-education programs, wellness workshops, health fairs, outreach, event planning, marketing support, administrative support, community-service projects, and blood donation drives (Launching Soon) when those opportunities become available. Roles will vary according to the needs and requirements of each activity.
Community-service hours completed through TTF will be documented. Letters or certificates may be provided upon request. Students should still confirm their own school or organization requirements because TTF cannot guarantee that every institution will accept or credit volunteer hours in the same way.
Volunteer participation will follow role-specific requirements. Volunteers under 18 require parent or guardian consent, and background checks may be required for roles involving direct work with youth or vulnerable populations. Specific requirements will depend on the role and finalized volunteer policies.
TTF is establishing an online volunteer registration pathway. After registration, next steps will depend on available roles and finalized volunteer procedures, so registration does not guarantee immediate placement. Volunteer & Youth Leadership is focused on service and development and does not promise employment, scholarships, or career outcomes.

I wanted to complete community-service hours in a way that felt connected to real community needs rather than simply checking a requirement. Volunteering with TTF gave me the opportunity to contribute, work with others, and take greater responsibility for the tasks I was given. I also appreciated having my service hours documented. The experience helped me think differently about Seva, leadership, and what meaningful community participation can look like.

I joined because I wanted practical leadership experience and an opportunity to become more confident taking responsibility in a group setting. Helping with planning and volunteer tasks gave me opportunities to communicate, stay organised, and follow through on what I agreed to do. I liked that the focus remained on serving the community while also encouraging young people to grow through participation. It felt useful, purposeful, and different from leadership that exists only in a classroom.

As a parent, I wanted my child to have a community-service opportunity that emphasised responsibility, respectful participation, and clear expectations. I appreciated knowing that parent or guardian consent is part of the process for minors and that volunteer requirements can vary depending on the role. The experience gave my child a constructive way to contribute, meet other community-minded people, and learn that leadership can begin with showing up, helping, and following through.

I volunteered during a community outreach activity because I wanted to become more involved in local service. I helped with practical tasks and saw how much coordination can go into making a community initiative run smoothly. What I valued most was being able to contribute without needing a formal leadership title. Taking responsibility for my part, communicating with others, and supporting the activity helped me better understand teamwork, service, and community responsibility.

Can Students Receive Service Hours?

How Are Service Hours Documented?
TTF will document community-service hours completed through its volunteer program. The exact format may depend on finalized volunteer procedures. Volunteers who need documentation for a school or organization should also confirm any outside requirements that must be met.
Are Letters Or Certificates Available?
